Cartref Annwyl Fan Care Home is a specially designed, purpose-built 66-bed care home in a beautiful rural location on the edge of Betws, Ammanford. We deliver the highest quality residential, nursing and dementia care, earning us an outstanding reputation locally, with most residents coming to live with us based on the recommendations of friends and family.
We understand the importance of good food to residents at our care home in Carmarthenshire, so in addition to our warm and friendly environment, we also offer delicious, nutritious meals to residents from our award-winning chef, who won the ‘Excellence in Catering’ award at the 2015 Wales Care Awards. We operate a relationship-centred care approach, which is designed to promote active and independent living for all residents according to their needs and preferences. We do this by encouraging each resident, with support from their family, to fill in an ‘About Me’ booklet. This booklet is an opportunity for residents to tell us their likes and dislikes, hobbies and interests and anything else that will help us to tailor our care and activities to their individual needs and preferences during their stay at our Ammanford care home.
