🌟 Celebrating Connection: Care Home Open Week Highlights 🌟

As June comes to an end, we’re reflecting on a fantastic Care Home Open Week, which took place this month across our homes at Caron Group.

Open days are so important in helping families, friends, and the wider community step inside our homes, meet the incredible teams, and experience first-hand the warmth, care, and connections that make each home so special. They break down barriers, build trust, and create meaningful relationships that last far beyond the day itself.

The celebrations kicked off with the return of the Great British Care Cycle Relay, now in its fourth year. Springbank Care Home proudly hosted one of the South Wales stops, and our residents and staff gave the cyclists a welcome to remember, with refreshments, cheers, and that unmistakable community spirit that makes events like this so special.

Over at Crosfield House, the doors opened for a vibrant garden party bringing together residents, families, staff and the wider community for a truly memorable day. We were delighted to welcome RCN Wales too, joining us in recognising the invaluable contribution nurses make every single day. With sunshine, live music and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, it was a day filled with smiles, connection and community spirit from start to finish.
