We’re absolutely delighted to share that Alyx has been nominated for the Special Recognition Award at the Wales Care Awards 2026 by Care Forum Wales.

Introduced for the first time this year, the award celebrates anyone in Health and Social Care who has done something exceptional or gone above and beyond to make a meaningful difference. Alyx is known for her incredible personality and person-centred approach to care, always going the extra mile to support residents and their families.

Alyx studied Nursing through Open University, funded and supported by Caron Group, and has recently been promoted to a Senior Nurse at Anwen Care Home, a real testament to her dedication and hard work. Her achievement also highlights the opportunities Caron Group provides to support colleagues in developing their careers, and we’re incredibly proud of the investment we’ve made in her journey.
