Moment of the Month – July 2026 Winner Announced

Moment of the Month is our group-wide recognition programme designed to celebrate the moments that truly reflect our values across Caron Group.

We are proud to announce the winner of our July 2026 Moment of the Month Award, recognising exceptional compassion, dedication and resident-centred care.

🏆 Winner: Samuel Adone Asiamah, St Mark’s Care Home

Samuel’s nomination, submitted by a resident’s family member, highlighted the outstanding kindness and emotional support he provided following the loss of a resident’s husband.

The nomination described how Samuel consistently checked on the residents wellbeing, ensuring she felt supported, reassured and cared for during a very difficult period. His compassion made a significant difference not only to the resident, but also to her family, who expressed how much comfort his support provided.

What stood out most was the genuine difference Samuel made through simple acts of kindness and his commitment to ensuring a resident never felt alone during her grief. His actions beautifully demonstrate the values of compassion, dignity and kindness that define exceptional care.

The Beeches Care Home Team

The Beeches team were recognised for their outstanding support of a resident with complex mental health needs. Through patience, perseverance and exceptional teamwork, they helped transform the resident’s confidence, wellbeing and quality of life over a six-month period. Their work is a powerful example of person-centred care in action.

Claire Williams, The Rookery

Claire was recognised for her dedication and professionalism during The Rookery’s transition into the Caron Group while also navigating personal bereavement. Her commitment to residents, families and colleagues has made a significant impact and reflects the very best of our values.
