Moment of the Month – June 2026 Winner Announced

🏆We are proud to announce the winner of our Moment of the Month award for June 2026 is Crosfield House Care Home.

The winning nomination recognised the exceptional teamwork, resilience and professionalism demonstrated during a challenging admission. Colleagues from across the entire home came together to provide safe, dignified and person-centred care. Through professionalism, collaboration and unwavering compassion, they ensured both the resident and his family received the support they needed during an incredibly difficult time.

The impact of their actions was reflected in heartfelt feedback from the resident’s daughter, who described the care provided as “amazing” and praised the team for going above and beyond during an emotional and difficult time for the family. Their response was a remarkable example of teamwork, leadership and compassionate care in action.

Lisa Baynton, Nursing Assistant – Glain House

Lisa was recognised for her compassion and empathy after taking time to comfort a distressed resident while managing a busy workload. Her kindness, patience and genuine care transformed an upsetting situation and provided reassurance not only to the resident but also to visiting family members.

Charlie Iskenderova, Wellbeing – April Court

Charlie was recognised for the positive impact she has made since joining April Court. Through creativity, enthusiasm and innovation, she has introduced meaningful experiences that enhance residents’ wellbeing while helping to create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere throughout the home and for representing April Court on the local news station, with professionalism, confidence and a genuine commitment to advocating for residents.
