A Warm Welcome for the Great British Care Cycle at Springbank Care Home

This weekend marked the start of Care Open Day Week with the return of the Great British Care Cycle Relay for its fourth year! 🎉

A remarkable journey that combines cycling, camaraderie, and compassion. The relay is hosted by Championing Social Care which celebrates the incredible services at the heart of our communities.

The fully supported group ride, led by British Cycling qualified guides, travels between care homes, offering opportunities to connect with inspiring residents and dedicated care teams along the way.

We were proud that Springbank Care Home hosted one of the South Wales stops.
Our residents and staff gave the riders a warm and memorable welcome, providing refreshments and sharing in the wonderful community spirit that makes events like this so special.

The aim of the relay is clear to raise awareness and shine a light on the vital role of social care and it’s initiatives like this that truly bring that mission to life.
